From
its beginning in 1967, the founders and members of the Board
of Directors of Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. have envisioned
an expanding Christian camping ministry for children, youth,
and adults. As a first step in fulfilling this vision, Camp
Willow Run was established in 1968 to provide a summer camping
outreach to grades 3-12. Camp Willow Run has grown into
a year-round Christian camping ministry with thousands of
people spending time aboard the good Ol’ Gospel train.

Now, after thirty-two years of providing this year-round
Christian ministry, Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. again has
been blessed with the opportunity to expand the vision for
further ministry development. Thanks to innovative charitable
planning by devoted friends of this ministry, Youth Camps
For Christ, Inc. has acquired 63.59 acres of land adjacent
to Camp Willow Run.
Our challenge is to raise $1,000,000 to pay the purchase
price for this absolutely beautiful land with one-half mile
of shoreline on Lake Gaston. The monies for the purchase
of the land will go into a charitable remainder trust with
a percentage of the income from the trust being paid to
the sellers during their lives. The remainder of the trust
will pass to Youth Camps For Christ, Inc. to give it an
endowment to support and expand its work of bringing young
people and adults to Christ. Youth Camps For Christ, Inc.
welcomes this adventure in faith and prayerfully accepts
this challenge with great joy.

Beautiful acreage that has been farmed for over fifty years
to grow corn will now be dedicated to the spiritual growth
